Suwałki

Suwalska Specjalna Strefa Ekonomiczna

Suwałki Special Economic Zone
, Suwałki Special Economic Zone is located in the north-eastern Poland.

It covers all districts of the Podlaskie Voivodship, 2 districts of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodship: Ełk and Gołdap and 4 districts of the Masovian Voivodship: Łosice, Ostrów Mazowiecki, Sokołów Podlaski and Węgrów.

Great location - in the direct vicinity of the eastern border of the European Union and the markets of Russia, Lithuania and Belarus - is a significant advantage of the Zone.

The area of the Zone intersects many transit routes, the most important of which are: Berlin - Warsaw - Grodno - Saint Petersburg; north-south European route connecting Central Europe with Finland - on the section from Helsinki to Warsaw, called Via Baltica, and part of Via Carpathia, the international European route connecting Klaipeda in Lithuania with Thessaloniki in Greece, thus constituting a transport route leading along the eastern border of the EU, from Central Europe to Asia, intersecting the corridors leading from Western Europe to Russia and, through the Black Sea ports, connecting with the TRACECA route (Europe - the Caucasus - Asia).

The zone offers a wide variety of investment plots, and provides support and assistance in terms of public aid.

The proposed investment areas, located in modern industrial districts of north-eastern cities and communes of Poland, equipped with the necessary technical infrastructure, are prepared for immediate implementation of investment projects of entrepreneurs conducting production or service activity. The Zone’s offer is enriched by laboratories of the Science and Technology Park in Ełk, enjoying the preferential treatment offered within SSEZ, as well as educated and qualified staff.

The entrepreneur, investing in the area managed by SSSE S.A., may use public aid in the form of exemption from income tax after obtaining the decision about support.

The Zone offers the highest amount of State aid that may be obtained by an enterprise implementing investments in an economic zone in Poland.

The maximum intensity (amount) of regional investment aid in the area managed by Suwalska Specjalna Strefa Ekonomiczna S.A. is:
