Legnica SEZSpecial Economic Zone Legnica

Established in 1997, the Legnica Special Economic Zone occupies a part of the Lower Silesia Province located in south-western Poland, one of the most dynamically developing regions in Poland, and covers over 1,361 ha of investment land. Locating investments in the Voivodeship is favorable, due to, its convenient location near the German and Czech borders, a dense network of constantly developing road and rail routes, which ensure connections with neighboring regions - both Polish and European, a high growth rate in the region, qualified workforce, and the availability of attractive investment plots.

Advantages and successes of the Legnica SEZ:
  • 20 subzones in the immediate vicinity of the most important communication routes in this part of Europe,
  • a convenient location in the vicinity of the important communication routes: the A4, A8, A18 motorways and expressways S3, S5 and S8, proximity to airports: the international airport in Wrocław, but also the airports in Berlin, Prague and Poznań,
  • a location within 500 km from six European capitals: Prague, Berlin, Bratislava, Vienna, Budapest and Warsaw,
  • convenient connection with the Szczecin-Świnoujście port complex,
  • the international railway line E30 crosses the Zone,
  • in addition to the basic help offered to investors, the Zone Management organizes meetings, workshops, training, a HR Forum and assigns a guardian to each entrepreneur - this person provides help, advice and is easily available to the company,
  • infrastructure available in the Zone: land prepared for investments with access roads and media.

  • The total amount of investment expenditure incurred by all enterprises operating in the Zone, from its inception until now is over PLN 10 billion
  • Total employment in the Zone: 16 thousand jobs created
