Poland opens arms to Israeli hi-tech with Poland.Business Harbour program
The Polish Investment and Trade Agency offers invaluable support for foreign investors, including networking opportunities, legal assistance as well as organizing site visits. The “Poland. Business Harbour” program includes a specially created visa which allows holders to work and launch a business without the need for an additional work permit. In September, PAIH announced the expansion of its government program “Poland Business Harbour”, which could help Israeli businesses launch operations in Europe. The program is a comprehensive package that makes it easier for hi-tech companies to open new business in Poland, giving them a foothold into the EU.

Our strategic location and highly qualified staff speak for us. “Poland. Business Harbour” program is the only solution of its kind in both the history of Poland and Europe. With a vast IT talent pool, there is a huge opportunity for Israel’s vibrant and thriving Hi-Tech and startup industries in Poland. We firmly believe the potential of Poland’s IT/ICT sector, especially next to key business hubs, centers of excellence and R&D centers, can have in driving innovation and growth for both our economies.
Panels at the Tel-Aviv-based event included sessions on the investment climate and state aid, investment in Poland from a lawyer’s perspective and the importance of accommodation management and efficient employee exchange.

The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH)
The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) is an advisory institution belonging to the Polish Development Fund (PFR) Group. This is the first point of contact for exporters and investors.
