The New York Investment Forum

The strategic goal of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency is to actively promote Poland as an attractive place for investment. For years, the Agency's representatives have been undertaking numerous activities to increase the interest in the Polish market among foreign entrepreneurs. PAIH's Investment Department, in cooperation with EY, organized an Investment Forum in the heart of Manhattan for this purpose. The theme of the event was Pathways to successful investment in European innovative business services and R&D sectors - Poland's Perspective.
The New York Investment Forum

The event was opened jointly by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the United States, Marek Magierowski, and the President of PAIH’s Management Board, Paweł Kurtasz. The main part of the Forum was dedicated to panel sessions on, what Poland has to offer investors and doing business on the Polish market. In addition to experts from PAIH and EY, there were representatives of Katowice City Hall, as well as Offit Kurman and DMS law firms, and Manpower also shared their knowledge with participants during two panels.

The Forum was attended by about a hundred representatives of American companies and the New York business community. For the many investors interested in Poland, the Forum was a platform for discussion and the exchange of views and experiences. As part of the networking session, they also had the opportunity to talk to the panellists and discuss the topics raised during their presentations.
