As one of the most dynamically developing economies from among African countries and the largest Arab country, Egypt is an attractive place for Polish entrepreneurs and investors. The economies of both Polish and Egypt are complementary, which opens up opportunities for cooperation in many sectors - assured President Andrzej Duda during the Polish-Egyptian Business Forum.

The Polish mission, and in particular the Polish-Egyptian Business Forum co-organized by PAIH, was aimed at strengthening the Polish-Egyptian partnership. The main topic of the event was to strengthen mutual relations between Polish and Egyptian business. Thanks to the economic mission, it was possible to establish even stronger cooperation with institutional partners from Egypt, which will facilitate Polish-Egyptian trade.

As the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, last year we served almost 130 Polish companies interested in exporting to Egypt or investing in this country. Almost 200 Egyptian entrepreneurs interested in cooperation with Polish entities also came to our office in Cairo. We are extremely happy that we can support such a large number of companies and help them expand on the Egyptian market - said Zdzisław Sokal during the ceremonial opening of the Polish-Egyptian Business Forum.

The mission was also an opportunity to establish new and strengthen existing business relations between Polish and Egyptian entrepreneurs. During the Polish-Egyptian Business Forum , a partnership agreement was signed with GAFI aimed at bringing Egyptian and Polish entrepreneurs closer together. As part of the meeting, thematic panels on cooperation in the agriculture, energy and transport sectors were held as well as presentations of Polish companies participating in the mission.

Polish companies are ready to participate in the largest Egyptian infrastructure projects, such as the construction of the new administrative capital New Cairo, the modernization of railways or the ICT 2030 strategy. Entrepreneurs from Poland see foreign expansion not only an opportunity to increase sales, but also to improve the living conditions of recipients of their technologies, products or services. The Polish Investment and Trade Agency, like Polish companies, is determined to act in order to achieve mutual benefits - both for Polish entrepreneurs and stakeholders in Egypt. The mission that has just been completed will be an impulse to strengthen cooperation and intensify the joint activities of both countries.
