Polish-Italian talks in Rome on economic cooperation

Rome, April 4th, a series of meetings with key representatives of the Italian State administration and the business world were attended by representatives of key of institutions from Poland, including Deputy Minister of Development and Technology Grzegorz Piechowiak and Chairman of PAIH's Management Board Krzysztof Drynda

Polish-Italian talks in Rome on economic cooperation


The day began with a meeting with the Chirman of the energy company ENI, Alessandro Della Zoppa. The talks were held with the participation of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Italy Anna Maria Anders and concerned the development of clean energy sources, energy transformation and support from the Polish side for investors in this sector. In the Polish Embassy in Rome, Deputy Minister Piechowiak and Chairman Drynda met with Maria Luisa Meroni, President of the Association of Employers and Industrialists Confindustria.

Chairman Krzysztof Drynda also spoke during a seminar presenting Poland in economic terms. The event took place in the Italian Institute of Foreign Trade and was opened by the Polish Deputy Minister of Development and Technology  Grzegorz Piechowiak and The Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Manlio Di Stefano.

Poland and Italy have a long and strong history of economic cooperation. The role of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency is to strengthen it further. Meetings such as today's allow for high-level talks, which are needed by both parties to make strategic decisions - said Krzysztof Drynda.

Meetings with the Italian side focused on Polish-Italian relations in the most promising industries - pharmaceutical, infrastructure and green technologies.
