The Katowice Special Economic Zone was established in 1996. It covers investment areas located in the Silesian and Opole Voivodeships (6 districts). The SEZ has a wide selection of investment plots, production facilities, warehouses and office space and provides consultancy in the area of public aid.

CIT/PIT tax reliefs (from 30% up to 60% of investment value),
strategic location in the south of Poland, near the A4 motorway (connection with Germany and Ukraine) and A1 (connection with the Czech Republic),
2.1 million inhabitants in the Silesian Agglomeration and 8.5 million people living within a radius of approx. 100 km of Katowice,
the 3rd largest educational centre in Poland (31 higher education institutions, 225 technical secondary schools, and 207 vocational schools),
