Baltic Port of New Technologies

The Baltic Port of New Technologies (BPNT) is a project of the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone (PSEZ), established in 2012 on the grounds of the former Gdynia Shipyard. The guiding principle behind its creation was to support the shipbuilding and maritime industries through the revitalization of shipyard areas, preparation of investment zones, as well as the modernization and commercialization of office spaces along with conference rooms.

Location

The Baltic Port of New Technologies is located in a perfectly connected part of Gdynia:

  • 2.6 km from Gdynia City Center,
  • on-site parking spaces,
  • public transport accessibility (3 minutes to municipal buses/trolleybuses - ZKM, 10 minutes to urban train - SKM),
  • direct access to the A1 motorway (via the Tricity Ring Road),
  • close proximity to the seaport and modern logistics centers.

Office space

BPNT offers 7,000 m2 of office space in a modern Class B+ building. The G-330 "Akwarium" office building was created by redeveloping the former headquarters of the Gdynia Shipyard management. BPNT also provides office spaces in lower standard classes. All buildings form a comfortable workspace for small, medium, and large companies.

The facility hosts companies from the shipbuilding, offshore, logistics, and maritime freight forwarding industries. A fully equipped Conference and Training Center is available for both resident co-operating firms and external businesses. The "Akwarium" building features an on-site bistro, with a medical clinic located nearby.

Conference and training centre

The BPNT Conference and Training Center is an ideal venue for organizing all types of conferences, training sessions, workshops, or business meetings. Our offer includes rooms that can accommodate between 40 and 80 people.

The Conference and Training Center is equipped with, among others:

  • modern audiovisual equipment,
  • Wi-Fi network access,
  • dedicated space for catering,
  • flexible rooms that can easily be adapted to individual needs, allowing for any setup configuration.

Constructors' Park (Park Konstruktorów)

A project implemented in cooperation with the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park, the City of Gdynia, and the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone. The Park's infrastructure enables rapid product prototyping, production process planning, or technology component development in a flexible, precise, repeatable, and cost-effective manner within the high-tech sector.

Three laboratories are available to innovators:

  • Communications and Navigation Laboratory,
  • Instrument Calibration Laboratory,
  • Destructive and Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory.
