Uzbekistan:

Uzbekistan is a predominantly agricultural country, where for years cotton cultivation has been most important. Since 2017, as part of the implementation of their development strategy, the development of the textile industry has been focused on. Currently, its processing capacity is so large that the country has, from being an exporter become an importer of cotton. The urbanization pressure caused by demographic growth additionally determines significant investments in construction. It is predicted that over the next 15 years, Uzbekistan's cities will need to be able to accommodate more than 7 million new residents.

Thanks to its openness to foreign investment and extensive trade relations with other countries, Uzbekistan is gaining new development opportunities and access to technology and know-how. It is also playing an increasingly active role on the international arena. The country's strategic geographical location, abundant and diverse natural resources, and a large domestic market of 36 million citizens with a sustained upward demographic trend represent enormous potential for investment and growth.
