We are strengthening Polish-French relations
During the opening debate, PAIH’s Chairman Andrzej Dycha said that from Poland’s point of view, Polish-French cooperation is extremely important, as it significantly improves security and supports Europe's energy sovereignty, as well as increases the competitiveness of our economy.
The participants of the Forum also emphasized that France is currently Poland's leading trade partner, and in recent years, our country has become one of the main suppliers of goods and services to the French market. They pointed out that France is today the third most important market for Polish exports. The value of trade between our countries in 2023, reached EUR 35 billion, with Poland having a surplus of as much as EUR 8.4 billion. The experts also added that France is one of the most important foreign investors in Poland. French companies have already invested over PLN 108 billion in our country.
For entrepreneurs, however, the event was not only an opportunity to listen to representatives of the administrations of both countries, but also a chance to establish valuable contacts and discuss practical aspects of business cooperation during the networking session.
The Forum’s organizers were: the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, the Lewiatan Confederation, the Mouvement des enterprises de France (MEDEF), MEDEF International, the partners of the event were: the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Paris, the Embassy of France in the Republic of Poland, the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in France and the French-Polish Chamber of Commerce.
