Polish-Ukrainian cooperation between companies from the mechanical engineering sector – a visit to Kiev

From the 30th October to the 1st November, an economic mission for Polish companies from the mechanical engineering sector took place. The visit to Kyiv was a unique opportunity to deepen Polish-Ukrainian business cooperation. There were three intense days full of meetings, dialogue and exchange of experiences, during which participants could meet with leaders of the Ukrainian market and representatives of the machinery industry in this country.

The visit began with the Polish-Ukrainian Business Days, during which Polish entrepreneurs established new relations and discussed the possibilities of further cooperation with the Ukrainian side. The participants of the mission also met with Dawid Tomaszewski, Head of the Economic Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kiev, who presented details of the local economic conditions.

The second day of the visit was filled with talks with representatives of Ukrainian companies Synergia and Orion, as well as with the President of the Ukrmashbud Association Volodymyr Sachenko. The meetings showed how many possible areas for cooperation there are for Polish and Ukrainian companies in the mechanical engineering sector.

As part of the last day of the visit, representatives of Polish companies visited the Paton International and Sherp Global LLC plants, where discussions on technological innovations and expansion opportunities were held.

The three-day economic mission for Polish companies operating in the machinery industry was organized by PAIH’s Foreign Trade Office in Kiev and PAIH’s Regional Trade Office in Katowice with significant support from the Ukrainian association Ukrmashbud.
