Poland as a positive model in the field of investment support – USAID visit

The study visit organized by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) for representatives of institutions supporting foreign investments has ended. As part of the event, representatives of countries from the Balkans, the Caucasus and Central Asia came to Poland.

The purpose of the visit was to learn about the best practices in creating an environment conducive to foreign direct investment, of which Poland is a positive example. The delegation visiting our country held a number of meetings, participated in numerous workshops and listened to presentations on investment projects implemented in Poland. The guest representatives of the investment support institutions also visited Special Economic Zones and Technology Parks.

The second day of the mission began with a meeting with PAIH representatives. The event was opened by the Agency’s Chairman, Andrzej Dycha, who emphasized how important the exchange of experiences between countries is, during such talks. While Radosław Pituch from the Investment Support Department presented the activities and business support instruments offered by PAIH. The visiting participants also took part in talks with representatives of global industry, as well as with IT and fintech leaders who have successfully implement investments in our country.

The study visit was organised by USAID in cooperation with the Ministry of Development and Technology, Invest in Pomerania, the American Chamber of Commerce, PAIH and business representatives.
