PAIH’s export successes
Since 2020, the number of export contracts signed by Polish companies has been constantly been growing. In 2023, with PAIH's support, more than 600 contracts with a total value of over PLN 205 million were concluded. And in the future, there may be even more export contracts, because the Agency is constantly and significantly increasing the number of B2B meetings between Polish entrepreneurs and potential foreign trade partners. In 2023, there were almost 5500 such meetings, which is double the number in 2022 and five times the number of such meetings held in 2021.
More foreign entrepreneurs interested in cooperation
Poland and PAIH’s visibility and general recognition in the world is growing, inquiries from foreign companies about the Polish market have almost doubled in recent years. Only last year, the Agency provided services to almost 3000 entrepreneurs interested in Poland. This significant increase in recognition is certainly a result of the numerous industry events and missions organized by PAIH and the presence of the Agency's employees at the most important and largest global conferences and fairs. In 2023, the number of events organized by PAIH in Poland and abroad, aimed at promoting Poland and Polish exports, exceeded 600 in number.
The number of events is growing
Thanks to the PAIH, thousands of Polish entrepreneurs have been able to participate in numerous events around the world. As part of Agency’s mission to Boston, more than 30 Polish biotechnology companies presented their products to the world at one of the largest and most important events in this sector - the BIO International Convention. Polish companies were also present at the world's largest event dedicated to modern financial technologies - the Singapore Fintech Festival and one of the most important international technology conferences - the Portuguese Web Summit, as well as at the largest cosmetics fair in Europe - Cosmoporf Bologna.
Thanks to PAIH, the first Polish-Kenyan Business Forum, the fifth edition of the British Polish Technology Forum and an economic mission to Taiwan on the occasion of the SEMICON 2023 fair were also held, and over 5,000 people could try Polish agri-food products during the Polish Night at MaBru in Brussels. For companies, participation in such an event is not only the promotion of their products or services, but can bring real financial benefits. During Caucasus Build 2023, as many as three Polish companies signed export contracts with Georgian contractors.
The organization of economic missions and B2B meetings is very important to us, but we also do much more. Through our daily work, we help interested entrepreneurs verify business partners, overcome language barriers, advise on the entire process of internationalization of their business, educate in the field of cultural codes and create analyses of export potential. With PAIH’s nearly 60 Foreign Trade offices spread all over the world, we are also on site for foreign entrepreneurs. We also help them and provide them with the necessary information about the potential of our country and organize study visits to Poland - said Łukasz Grabowski, Director of the Export Department of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.
