October in PAIH’s Regional Trade Offices

Our Regional Trade Offices (RTO), operating in twelve locations in Poland, are a link facilitating contact between entrepreneurs and PAIH. RTO’s experts participate in events taking place in individual regions, presenting the areas of the Agency's activities and the business support instruments it offers. PAIH also co-organizes a number of conferences devoted to the development of local companies. Among the activities of the RTOs, a series of Business Breakfasts with PAIH stands out, attracting businessmen, representatives of institutions and local government.

Below is a summary of the most important activities of PAIH's Regional Trade Offices in October:

  • The Regional Trade Office in Poznań participated in three meetings of the "Business in Wielkopolska" series, organized by the Department of Economy of the Marshal's Office of the Wielkopolska Region. The conferences were held in Leszno, Gniezno and Turek. The series was carried out as part of the cooperation between PAIH, the Marshal's Office of the Wielkopolska Region, the Wielkopolska Development Fund, Special Economic Zones and PIFE. Its aim is to familiarize entrepreneurs from Wielkopolska with the available business support instruments offered by these institutions. Experts from PAIH’s office in Poznań familiarized the participants with the Agency's offer and the opportunities offered to entrepreneurs by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

  • Representatives of RBTs took part in a meeting organized by the City of Poznań and the Wielkopolska Development Fund entitled "Finance for business", which took place as part of the Entrepreneurship Days. The speakers presented the offer of support for entrepreneurs provided by institutions such as PAIH, the Wielkopolska Development Fund, the Industrial Development Agency, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and the Wielkopolska Agency for Enterprise Development.

  • Another conference in the "Acquire, Profit and Invest" series was held in Wieleń, one of the co-organizers of which was the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. Entrepreneurs could learn about PAIH's offer, which was presented by Joanna Grzelka – Key Expert of the Regional Trade Office in Poznań, as well as current products offered by BGK, the offer of the Industrial Development Agency, the possibilities of taking advantage of tax relief with the help of the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone and, thanks to the PIFE lecture, find out what European funds can be used by entrepreneurs from the Wielkopolska region. The conference was attended by the Minister of Development and Technology Krzysztof Paszyk, the Deputy Governor of Wielkopolska Jarosław Maciejewski and the Mayor of the Municipality Elżbieta Rybarczyk.

  • Representatives of RTO in Poznań also participated in the "New Energy in the Region" fair, which took place on October 8th in Konin. The aim of the event was the economic promotion of Konin and the area of the Wielkopolska Energy Valley. PAIH's stand and participation in meetings allowed us to establish new business contacts.

  • In the Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park Aeropolis a meeting " Subsidies for innovations" was held, organized by the Rzeszów Regional Development Agency. During the meeting, representatives of the PAIH Regional Trade Office in Rzeszów presented the Agency's offer. Experts also conducted individual talks with participants on support for Polish SMEs who want to export.

  • Katarzyna Dzięcioł-Biełowieżec from our RTO in Olsztyn represented PAIH during the XXI Congress of the Polish Chamber of Steel Construction. The event was attended by representatives of PIKS member companies, representatives of the world of science and industry organizations. They discussed the prospects for the development of the industry in the face of further energy transformation, the opportunities and challenges related to the development of wind energy, and the support that the funds from the National Recovery Plan will provide to the economy. PAIH’s representative presented the areas of the Agency's activities and available support instruments to businesses.

  • PAIH’s representatives were guests at the Western Economic Forum, which was organized by the Polish Chamber of Electromobility Development and the Organization of Employers of the Lubusz Region. PAIH was a Partner of the event. Experts from our Regional Trade Offices present at the Forum presented information on the tools and forms of support offered by the Agency.

  • "Booster for Business" is another event with the participation of our Regional Trade Offices. The meeting was organized by the Katowice Special Economic Zone S.A. together with its Partners, including the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. A representative of our RTO from Katowice presented the Agency's activities supporting SMEs.

  • The eighth edition of the "Made in Wrocław" conference, organized by the Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency, is over. It is an important event for the city and the region, which combines business, science and technology. The Polish Investment and Trade Agency was a Partner of this year's event. During the panel "Conquer the world anew" and during numerous conversations with entrepreneurs, PAIH’s experts presented the support tools offered by the Agency.

  • The "Power Planet Man – Environment – Business" conference was an opportunity to talk about the implementation of ESG in enterprises, innovations in business or obtaining green financing for SMEs. The conference was organized by the Lublin Business Club. PAIH's Regional Trade Office in Lublin was a Partner of the Conference. Marcin Graczyk – PAIH’s Spokesman and Head of the PAIH ESG Working Group took part in a discussion panel entitled "From theory to practice – how to effectively implement ESG in business".

Business Breakfasts with PAIH

PAIH experts from the Regional Office in Gorzów Wielkopolski carried out another event in the series at the Regional Centre for Technology and Knowledge Interior in Nowa Sól. During the presentation and networking , information was provided on the support offered by PAIH’s and Regional Trade Offices to local entrepreneurs, the Brand HUB project and Polish Technological Bridges, current opportunities to use European funds and the National Recovery Plan. Together with RTO representatives, the meeting was attended by Market Experts from PAIH's Foreign Trade Offices from Germany and Ukraine.

The RTO in Rzeszów organized a Business Breakfast in Tarnobrzeg. During the meeting, the participants learned about the Agency's offer for entrepreneurs, the pillars of its operation and the possibilities of support from PAIH’s Foreign Trade Offices from Lithuania, Hungary and Germany. The meeting was attended by the Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic, who presented details of Polish-Czech cooperation and information on the possibilities of expansion in his country.

Another business breakfast in the series was also organized by the Regional Trade Office in Wrocław.
