Polish-Saudi cooperation is gaining momentum. A record-breaking economic mission to Saudi Arabia with PAIH

Poland - the leader of the EU's economic growth and a reliable investment partner
Saudi Arabia is implementing the visionary Vision 2030 economic transformation program. It remains one of the most promising markets for Polish entrepreneurs - both in the area of exports and long-term investment projects. The country sees Poland as a leader in economic growth in the European Union and a reliable investment partner.
During the intensive program of the visit to Riyadh, dozens of B2B meetings were held, talks with the Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia H.E. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Falih, a meeting with the Minister of Trade H.E. Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, as well as consultations with representatives of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and the National Development Fund (NDF). An important element of the visit was also the Saudi-Polish Investment Forum, which brought together business leaders and institutions from both countries.
The Polish delegation consisted of entrepreneurs representing, among others, energy, ICT, fintech, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, the food sector, agritech and dual-use technologies. It was a cross-sectional presentation of Poland's export and innovation potential.
Mission Outcomes and Two Key Memoranda
From PAIH's perspective, the key effect of the mission was to establish relations that have a real chance of translating into specific contracts and projects. The Saudi market is relational in nature - trust, consistency and a long-term approach to business presence are crucial. At the same time, Saudi Arabia is consistently building an increasingly predictable and friendly regulatory environment for foreign investors, which makes it much easier to enter the market.
During the event, two key memoranda of cooperation were signed, which set new directions for the development of economic relations between Poland and Saudi Arabia.
The first focuses on supporting the export of goods, services and investments, as well as on jointly promoting projects of significant economic importance for both sides.
The second agreement assumes closer cooperation between organizations representing entrepreneurial communities in both countries and the creation of a support system for entities interested in establishing and developing business contacts.
A new economic opening
In 2024, the value of Polish exports to Saudi Arabia amounted to approx. USD 806 million, while Polish's imports from Saudi Arabia in the same period amounted to approx. USD 8.52 billion.
The record-breaking economic mission confirmed that Polish-Saudi cooperation is entering a new phase - from growing trade to partnership based on joint projects, investments and technology transfer. From machinery and food, to engineering and IT services, to advanced energy and digital solutions, the potential for cooperation remains very wide.
For PAIH, the mission to Riyadh was another important step in achieving its strategic goal, which is to support the expansion of Polish companies on non-EU markets.
PAIH's activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Since 2018, PAIH has been supporting Polish entrepreneurs in the safe and effective development of their business on the Saudi Arabian market.
In Riyadh, there is a PAIH Foreign Trade Office, whose local presence enables constant support for companies in the field of market analysis, establishing business relations and efficiently navigating the Saudi legal and institutional environment.
