Polish companies with a strong representation at Mining Week Kazakhstan 2025

Another edition of Kazakhstan's largest trade fair for the mining and metallurgical industry - Mining Week Kazakhstan - is over. The Polish stand, organized for the fifth time by PAIH, gathered a record number of 13 Polish companies presenting modern technologies and solutions for the mining sector.

The strong Polish presence at the fair is the result of consistent promotional activities carried out by PAIH’s Foreign Trade Office in Kazakhstan and the growing popularity of the Kazakh market among Polish entrepreneurs.

The following companies took part in the fair together with PAIH:

  • CTT EMAG - a company offering services in the field of transfer of technological solutions,
  • Damel - manufacturer of industrial engines,
  • Elgór + Hansen - manufacturer of equipment for the transformation and distribution of electricity,
  • EXPROTEC - manufacturer of explosion-proof equipment, electrical and power electronic systems for power supply, power distribution and industrial automation,
  • WOLBROM a Conveyor Belt Factory - one of the most modern factories in this industry in Europe, a leader on the Polish market and a significant competitor for global companies,
  • HASO - the company deals with industrial automation issues,
  • KGHM ZANAM - a manufacturer of machinery and equipment for the mining sector, which also manufactures equipment used in handling systems, transport units, scaling and open-pit mines,
  • OPA-ROW - a company offering comprehensive research and measurement, design, assembly, measurement, commissioning and maintenance services,
  • PRONAR - manufacturer of low-speed double-shaft shredders, single-shaft low-speed shredders, drum and star screens, crushers, portable warehouse conveyors, high-speed shredders,
  • SAG - manufacturer of rollers for belt conveyors,
  • The Łukasiewicz Research Network - Tele and Radio Research Institute - an institution conducting comprehensive and interdisciplinary scientific research and development work on highly developed technologies and innovations, especially in the field of ICT systems, electronics, electronic assembly and solutions for Industry 4.0.,
  • Telvis - manufacturer of industrial telephones, telephone communication systems, dispatch alarm and broadcast systems, both intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe,
  • Trent - manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders.

In addition, the following Polish companies had their own stands at the fair:

  • FAMUR - manufacturer of machinery for mining, energy and mass transport and transshipment,
  • FASING - manufacturer of chains, among others. for the mining industry,
  • MDJ Elektronic - supplier of complete industrial automation systems,
  • SADEX - a company dealing with the production of mining equipment, as well as the performance of specialized services for the mining, construction and metallurgical industries.

Participation in the fair was an excellent opportunity for all the companies to build business relations - especially in Kazakhstan, where personal contact with a business partner is crucial. Representatives of the companies had the opportunity to conduct numerous meetings and product presentations. During the event, representatives of PAIH’s Foreign Trade Office in Astana presented PAIH's offer to both Polish and Kazakh companies interested in cooperation.
