The Banksia Foundation Gala brought together over 200 Australian business leaders, Government representatives, Academia and experts in the field of sustainable development. During the event, a Q&A session was held with the participation of Krzysztof Galos, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Climate and Environment, and Gabrielle Visentin, EU Ambassador to Australia. The discussion provided a platform for the exchange of experiences and views on the future of sustainable development, as well as the geopolitical situation in the context of recent events on the global political scene.

The aim of the initiative, organised by PAIH's Foreign Trade Office in Sydney in cooperation with the Banksia Foundation, was to help understand the specifics of the Australian market and the role of ESG in business relations in this country. The event allowed us to establish contacts with Australian partners. The project also emphasised Poland's commitment to sustainable development on a global scale and presented Polish companies as reliable business partners in the area of sustainable development. The program also included B2B meetings and networking events.

The success of this initiative is an important step in building and strengthening economic relations between Poland and Australia. Polish companies gained valuable knowledge necessary to adapt their business models to global trends in sustainable development, which has opened up new opportunities for them to be present on the Australian market.
