The unmanned technology industry is one of the fastest growing sectors of the modern economy, emphasized Konrad Fijołek, Mayor of Rzeszów, and Paweł Kowal, Chairman of the Council for Cooperation with Ukraine at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister's Office, the initiators of the meeting.

A new industry which is changing Poland's position
In the face of the ongoing war in Ukraine, the world has understood that drones are no longer a technological curiosity, but one of the most important tools of the modern economy of a country – in the areas of security, logistics, agriculture and industry. As Poland, we are at a moment that allows us to use our strengths: advanced information technologies, a dynamically developing AI sector, strong engineering facilities.
The main element that will make this sector develop well is IT and artificial intelligence. It is for these reasons that the Rzeszów region is at the forefront of the Polish European race in the drone sector. – emphasizes Andrzej Dycha, PAIH’s Chairman. - It is digital technologies that will be the driving force behind Polish drone power. - He Added.
Polish technology, Polish ambition
The development of the drone industry means the creation of a completely new sector of the economy. Every investment in this area means strengthening Poland's security, increasing technological competences, new jobs, attracting foreign partners. Thanks to the synergy between the public and private sectors, Poland can become a hub for innovation in unmanned systems - not only in the region, but throughout Europe.
Collaboration that gives you an advantage
The Polish Investment and Trade Agency actively supports the development of this sector, attracting investors and technology partners from all over the world and supporting Polish companies in their international expansion. During the event, PAIH’s experts emphasized that they invite Polish and foreign entrepreneurs to cooperate.
There is no development of drone companies without prospects for the export of goods produced in Poland - emphasized Jakub Polak, Deputy Director of the PAIH Security Office.
An important element of the strategy is cooperation with Ukraine, which has extensive experience in the use of drones in practice - both in industry and defence. Joint research and investment projects with Ukrainian partners can significantly accelerate the development of the Polish drone sector.
