PAIH’s new Management Board

The Government's priority in the area of economic cooperation with foreign countries is to strengthen the competitiveness of the Polish economy on global markets, build its positive image and the attractiveness of Polish business on a global scale. PAIH plays an important role in this. I am convinced that the new members of the Management Board will contribute to the expansion of the support offered to Polish entrepreneurs, so that it meets the needs of companies even more. I would like to congratulate you and wish you success in your new role - said Minister Krzysztof Hetman.

In the years 2007-2010, Andrzej Dycha was Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and in the years 2011-2015 Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Economy. From 2015 to 2017, he was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Andrzej Dycha is an advisor with many years of experience, in, among others, the European Parliament and the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw. A graduate of the University of Szczecin.

Magdalena Skarżyńska has been associated with PAIH since 2021, serving as Deputy Director of the Security and Audit Department. She, among other, gained her professional experience at the National Institute of Telecommunications, the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the Ministry of Administration and Digitization, the Polish Power Exchange S.A. She graduated from the University of International Relations and American Studies.

The Polish Investment and Trade Agency

The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) deals with attracting foreign direct investments to Poland and supports international cooperation of Polish enterprises. It operates both in Poland and around the world through its Foreign Trade Offices (ZBH).

PAIH offers companies quick access to comprehensive information on the economic and legal environment. It also helps in overcoming administrative procedures or developing legal solutions, finding the right location for new investments and reliable partners and suppliers. It promotes Polish companies exports, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises, and supports Polish investments abroad. The Polish Investment and Trade Agency also provides access to financial instruments, including insurance offered by institutions associated in the Polish Development Fund Group.

Last year, foreign companies, with the support of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, invested over EUR 7.4 billion in Poland.
