The agreement provides, among other things, mutual substantive support through the participation of representatives of both organisations as experts or speakers at seminars, conferences and webinars organised by PAIH or PIGMiUR. The two organisations have also committed to joint promotional activities and the co-organisation of business missions, seminars and training sessions.
PAIH and PIGMiUR are already working together to promote the machinery and equipment sector, including through the Internationalization of SMEs - Brand HUB project. PIGMiUR has actively contributed to the development of a promotional video for the sector, helping to strengthen the industry’s positive image internationally.
The Chamber has also provided expert support in identifying the sector’s communication needs and key promotional priorities, including the identification of priority markets. In addition, it has helped strengthen awareness of the project among Polish businesses.
The signing of the agreement will further amplify these activities and enable PAIH and PIGMiUR, as the leading representatives of the sector, to speak with one voice on issues that are crucial to promoting Poland’s agricultural machinery and equipment industry. Through its expert support, PIGMiUR will help PAIH further tailor its activities to the needs of Polish businesses. At the same time, the agreement will help raise awareness of PAIH’s support among businesses, making it easier for them to access the tools and services offered by the Agency.
The partnership between the two organisations is primarily focused on expertise and knowledge sharing. By joining forces, they will help ensure that the positive message about Poland’s machinery and equipment sector reaches customers and investors around the world with greater impact and effectiveness.
About the Polish Chamber of Commerce for Agricultural Machinery and Equipment
The Polish Chamber of Commerce for Agricultural Machinery and Equipment (PIGMiUR) is a self-financing, sector-specific economic self-government organisation. Its primary objective is to improve the operating conditions of manufacturers and distributors and to represent their common interests before external institutions. PIGMiUR places a strong emphasis on promoting the sector, including by organising specialised training programmes, conferences and major agricultural exhibitions. Established in 1998, the Chamber initially brought together primarily importers and distributors of Western agricultural equipment. Over time, leading Polish agricultural machinery manufacturers became an increasingly significant part of its membership. Today, PIGMiUR represents 191 companies from the sector, including 79 agricultural machinery manufacturers, 55 importers and 57 dealers. Among other activities, the Chamber organises AGRO Show, the largest outdoor agricultural machinery exhibition in Europe.
