PAIH joins with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) – to help sick children

PAIH continues its EXPO adventure with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity! We proudly joined the 34. Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity! Anyone who wants to be the new owner of the historic BIE Gold Award for exhibition design has a chance to do so. This prestigious award will go to the highest bidder of the auction, and the entire amount offered will be donated to the WOŚP foundation, which this year plays for the healthy tummies of Polish children by supporting gastroenterological diagnostics. This is how PAIH builds the Expo Effect and plays until the end of the world and one day longer!

The Gold Award is one of the four and most prestigious awards awarded to the Polish Pavilion prepared and run by PAIH during the EXPO 2025 World Exhibition in Japan. The award was granted in the "Exhibition Design" category for self-built pavilions in the medium category - with an area of up to 1500 m2. The comprehensive concept of the exhibition, the skilful combination of natural materials, emotional narration and modern, interactive forms of presentation were appreciated.

The BIE Gold Award is not only a prestigious trophy from the world of great exhibitions and international successes. Today, it is primarily a symbol of virtue that can realistically turned into tangible help for young patients. Put up for auction, as part of the 34. Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, the Gold Award gains a new, unique meaning – it becomes a tool of solidarity and social sensitivity.

Jurek Owsiak (the charity’s founder) talked about how the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity builds civil society in Poland, during a conference on mental health organized by the Polish Pavilion at Expo. As PAIH, we proudly created this story in Japan together with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity and we are continuing to create it during this year's Finale.

The Polish Pavilion was among the most recognizable and most awarded objects of the entire World Exhibition, which had over 160 countries participating and visited by nearly 30 million visitors from all over the world. Our Pavilion attracted over 1.3 million visitors.
