Opportunities for economic cooperation between Polish and Egypt are increasing

During the Business Seminar "Business in Egypt – Investments and Trade", organized by PAIH and the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt, representatives of government administration and business from both countries met. The event allowed for the establishment of new relationships and the discussion of specific opportunities to use the potential of one of the most important markets in Africa.
Seminarium Biznesowe - Biznes w Egipcie

The event was opened by PAIH’s Chairman, Andrzej Dycha, and the Ambassador of Egypt to Poland, H.E. Ahmed Samy Elansary. They emphasized the strategic importance of Polish-Egyptian relations and the prospects for their development, both in terms of mutual investments and trade relations. The seminar’s participants learned about the Egyptian system of investment incentives and specific support instruments offered by PAIH, which were presented by Katarzyna Szczot from PAIH’s Export Support Department.

An important element of the meeting were the voices of practitioners. Polish companies, already present on the Egyptian market, shared their experiences, showing that Egypt is not only a case of promising forecasts, but real projects and measurable effects. Feerum invested in a plant producing components for grain silos. Fruitful, on the other hand, started operating in the area of freeze-dried food production. Both projects are implemented with PAIH’s support.

Egypt is among the three largest economies in Africa, and according to IMF forecasts, its GDP will approach $400 billion in 2026. The dynamic development of infrastructure, energy and logistics strengthens the country's position as a regional investment hub.

For Poland, Egypt is a key partner in North Africa and one of the most important directions of cooperation in the Arab world - which was clearly confirmed by the Warsaw seminar.

Companies interested in developing their business on the Egyptian market are invited to contact PAIH’s Foreign Trade Office in Cairo.
