Africa closer to Polish entrepreneurs

The slogan "From export to investment" highlighted the change in approach - from the sale of goods to long-term capital and technology investments. Representatives of the Ministry of Development and Technology, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, the Export Credit Insurance Corporation and the Polish Chamber of Commerce presented support instruments for entrepreneurs planning to expand.
Practitioners leading projects in Africa also spoke. They pointed to the growing potential of both North and Sub-Saharan Africa and the openness of these markets to technology and joint investments.
The forum was attended by, among others, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Egypt, Michał Murkociński, and the Ambassador of Algeria to Poland, Mohamed Salah, Eddine Belaid. They stressed the importance of stable diplomatic relations for the development of economic cooperation.
The growing interest in African markets shows that it is an attractive and promising direction with great investment potential for Polish companies. This was confirmed by the Business Forum in Toruń.
The Polish Investment and Trade Agency actively supports Polish companies in their development of operations on African markets, with particular emphasis on critical raw materials, electromobility, modern technologies and the agricultural sector. The agency organizes economic missions, business forums and provides support through their Foreign Trade Offices in Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco and Kenya.
