Innovative Poland at GITEX AI Europe 2026 and Polish Tech Night
GITEX AI Europe is one of Europe’s largest technology events. This year’s edition took place in Berlin on 30 June–1 July 2026, bringing together technology companies, startups, investors and innovation leaders from around the world. The event focused on solutions in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, quantum technologies and other advanced technologies, as well as the digital transformation of public administration.
Participation in the event provided an opportunity not only to showcase Polish technological solutions, but also to build international business partnerships.
This mission continued with Polish Tech Night, which brought together entrepreneurs, investors and representatives of the innovation community from across Europe, creating another platform for promoting the potential of Polish companies.
Polish National Pavilion - a shared brand and expert support
The Polish National Pavilion was organised by the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and the Marshal’s Office of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The official opening was attended by Rafał Rosiński, Deputy Minister of Digital Affairs; Jakub Wawrzyniak, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Berlin; Jacek Wójcikowski, Director of the Economic Initiatives Centre at the Marshal’s Office of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship; and Łukasz Chrabański, Head of PAIH’s Foreign Trade Office in Frankfurt am Main.
The joint exhibition featured 19 Polish entities representing the new technology and startup sectors, research and development organisations, scientific institutions and organisations supporting innovation. Additional companies selected through a recruitment process conducted by the Ministry of Digital Affairs and PAIH received exhibition passes and access to the facilities of the Polish National Pavilion.
The Polish National Pavilion provided businesses with a dedicated space for meetings, increased the international visibility of Polish brands and gave exhibitors access to expert support from the PAIH Foreign Trade Office in Germany and the Ministry of Digital Affairs in developing international cooperation.
Poland’s innovative team in Berlin
Exhibitors at the Polish National Pavilion included Asseco Data Systems, Asseco Poland, CloudFerro, Cyberprime (StateWarden), GIT, IamIP Technology, mediatec.net, Mentor, Nanosci, Quantifier, Red Sky, ReForms21, ResQuant, STETTINER, TatraCloud, TENTARO (CodeQA), TrustSEC, uninterrupted (u11d) and Xopero Software.
They were joined by Bilander Group, Carbon Studio, CogniBe, IT Partners Telco, JJLT, MotorsBot, Transparent Data, WEBCON and ZONIFERO.
A particular highlight was Quantifier.ai, which qualified for the final of the Supernova All-Stars Pitch Competition. The company’s artificial intelligence-powered platform for supporting regulatory compliance was recognised among the most innovative startups showcasing their solutions at this year’s event.
Polish startups and scaleups take Berlin by storm
Immediately following the trade fair, from 1-3 July 2026, Berlin once again became a hub for promoting Polish technology entrepreneurship. Two flagship events of the Polish Tech platform took place: the three-day Polish Tech Scale development programme and the Polish Tech Night networking gala.
Together, the events attracted more than 300 participants from Germany and across Europe, including investors, ecosystem leaders, startup founders and representatives of public institutions. Holding the events alongside GITEX AI Europe helped further showcase Poland’s technological potential and gave participants access to an international network of business contacts.
Twenty-five startups competed across four thematic tracks. An international jury of experienced investors selected the winners in each category:
- Digital Transformation: KlimaShift,
- Deep Tech & Defence: Tatra Space (WisentWire),
- Food Tech: BIO ICE CREAM DOTS,
- Health Tech: LightBone.
The winning startups earned the opportunity to pitch their solutions to a broad audience of European investors, along with partner prizes awarded by the jury.
Poland is becoming an increasingly important player on the European technology scene
Poland is now one of Europe’s fastest-growing technology ecosystems. The success of companies such as DocPlanner, Booksy, ElevenLabs and ICEYE demonstrates that Polish entrepreneurs are capable of developing products that compete successfully in global markets.
The Polish Tech platform, operating since 2016, supports the next generation of startups by providing access to Berlin’s and Europe’s innovation ecosystems, investors and business partners.
