On the first day of the Forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and the Argentine Agency of Investment and International Trade. The document was signed by Paweł Pudłowski, Vice President of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. The agreement lays the foundation for strengthening economic relations - particularly in the areas of trade, investment, and technology.

Cooperation between Poland and Argentina in the investment field has been limited so far. However, it has enormous potential, as our economies are complementary in many key areas. I believe that today's forum is a milestone, opening a new chapter in economic cooperation between our countries. Combining our strengths and talents can create entirely new value that will benefit the economies of Poland and Argentina - emphasized the PAIH Vice President.

During the panel discussion "Why Poland, Why Argentina", PAIH Vice President Paweł Pudłowski and Diego Sucalesca, Executive President of the Argentine Agency of Investment and International Trade, presented the investment advantages of both countries and the support tools available to entrepreneurs. They also discussed prospects for cooperation in high-tech sectors, that can strengthen the competitiveness of the Polish and Argentine economies and their role in global value chains.

Sectoral presentations and intensive B2B discussions

The second day of the event was devoted to presenting the offers of Polish companies from the medtech, fintech, spacetech, agri-food, and mining sectors. The solutions presented highlighted the innovative nature of the Polish economy and the potential for technological expansion in South American markets.

Mission participants attended a series of B2B meetings and presentations from companies in the agricultural, energy, and industrial sectors, met with the Argentine Secretary of Mining and the Argentine Secretary of Finance, and participated in consultations with the Argentine Agency of Investment and International Trade. The delegation visited the Buenos Aires Innovation Park, where a meeting on innovation and technology was held, along with presentations from companies in the medtech and fintech sectors.

Both markets demonstrate a growing demand for modern machinery, precision technologies, and digital solutions. We hope that the Forum and the numerous B2B meetings will stimulate the development of joint ventures and knowledge exchange between companies, research institutions, and industry organizations - summarized Maciej Srebro, Director of the Export Support Department at the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH).

Prospects for cooperation

The most promising areas of investment cooperation include renewable energy, mining and agricultural technologies, IT and fintech, as well as biotechnology, automation, and robotics.

For Polish companies, the most important export areas are machinery and equipment, automotive, agricultural equipment and drones, fertilizers and food, pharmaceuticals and chemical products, and green economy technologies and solutions.

The forum and the presence of the Polish delegation were a response to the currently undergoing intensive reforms aimed at attracting foreign investment and opening the domestic market to new global players.

We organized this mission as a continuation and expansion of our previous visit to the mining fair, which highlighted Argentina's enormous potential in strategic resources, such as lithium and rare elements, as well as in traditional sectors such as energy and agribusiness - emphasized Vice President Paweł Pudłowski.

During the forum in Buenos Aires, the Polish delegation also shared their experience of economic transformation, which required time, commitment, and tolerance for uncertainty, but generated sustainable growth and diversification of the production base, which can be an inspiration for Argentina.
