Team Poland for Ukraine – common branding for development institutions to support the competitiveness of Polish companies

The first project implemented under a common branding is Team Poland for Ukraine - a program addressed to companies that want to get involved in the economic reconstruction of Ukraine. This brings new quality in the cooperation of institutions from the PFR Group for the development of Polish business abroad.

The Team Poland for Ukraine initiative was announced on Monday jointly by: the Polish Development Fund (PFR), the Industrial Development Agency (ARP), Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK), the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), KUKE and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP).

A comprehensive offer under one brand

Companies that want to enter the Ukrainian market now gain access to knowledge and support programs available in one place. On a specially created website www.teampoland.eu/ukraina you will find, among other things, the current offer of development institutions, which includes 35 products. In response to the needs of companies expanding their operations in Ukraine, the offer will continue to be expanded. By the decision of the PFR Group Council, various instruments, products and services have been integrated under one coherent brand.

Team Poland's offer for Ukraine includes:

• a comprehensive package of financial products - e.g. loans, guarantees and insurance;
• a package of non-financial products - e.g. consulting, verification of contractors, organization of economic missions and provision of information on tenders;
• an intuitive online platform with an Interactive Entrepreneur Assistant, facilitating the selection of support tools for the company's needs;
• Direct support through the contact centre, providing quick access to information and expert assistance.

One program - many solutions

The Team Poland for Ukraine program provides entrepreneurs with easy access to comprehensive solutions aimed at the development of export or import activities, complex investment instruments, as well as industry expertise.

The key tool of the program's website is the Entrepreneur's Assistant. It allows you to quickly adjust your offer to individual business needs. Based on the answers to a short set of questions, the system generates a personalised package of instruments, taking into account, among other things:

• financial solutions on preferential terms;
• transaction hedging instruments;
• comprehensive business knowledge (including up-to-date information on tenders, access to specialized webinars and invitations to industry events).

Together in order to support the competitiveness of Polish companies

The goal of the PFR Group of companies and the mission of the Team Poland brand is to create a synergistic ecosystem of business support. Thanks to the integrated cooperation of development institutions, entrepreneurs receive comprehensive assistance tailored to all phases of a project’s implementation. The brand strengthens Poland's position as a reliable business partner in the international economic arena and demonstrates the ability of Polish institutions to compete effectively on the global market.

We bring our financial instruments, tax exemptions in special economic zones and experience in the implementation of large investments to a project. We are counting on specific contracts for Polish companies - says Wojciech Balczun, Chairman of IDA JSC.

Our strategy for 2025-2030 assumes that the bank will support the foreign expansion of Polish enterprises. Joining Team Poland is proof that we are implementing our plans. By 2030, BGK wants to accompany Polish companies on 100 foreign markets - informed Mirosław Czekaj, Chairman of BGK’s Management Board.

We are the leader in supporting the reconstruction of Ukraine among export credit agencies, which contributed to the recognition of KUKE as the world's best export support institution in the Global Trade Review ranking. We insure the export of goods from Poland to Ukraine worth almost PLN 2 billion per year, direct investments of Polish companies and reconstruction projects and the participation of our entities in them, offering insurance and guarantee instruments for companies and institutions financing them - emphasizes Janusz Władyczak, Chairman of KUKE S.A.

On July 10-11, 2025, the Team Poland brand for Ukraine will be presented in Rome as part of the events accompanying the Ukraine Recovery Conference.
