On the 6th March 2025 in Warsaw, Akces NCBR, a national accelerator supporting the development and commercialisation of innovative Start-ups, concluded an agreement with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. The aim of the cooperation is primarily to support the development and internationalization process of Polish enterprises creating innovations based on the results of R+D work - mainly by facilitating their access to foreign markets and investors. Thanks to the cooperation, foreign Startups will also gain the opportunity to enter the Polish market more effectively.
Joint action for internationalisation
As part of the Accession agreement, Akces NCBR and PAIH will undertake a number of initiatives to support Start-ups in their international expansion. The planned activities include, among other things, assistance in introducing foreign entities accelerated by Akces NCBR to local markets, organising the participation of Polish Start-ups in international fairs and exhibitions, mentoring in adapting products to foreign markets, access to a network of investors and business partners, PAIH's expert support for these entities, access to foreign mentors.
The importance of internationalization for Start-ups
Global expansion is a key element of success for Polish Start-ups, enabling them to gain new markets, investors and business partners. Akces' cooperation with PAIH opens up new opportunities for innovative Polish companies and aims to provide them with assistance at every stage of their foreign expansion.
As Arleta Malasińska, Chairman of Akces NCBR, emphasizes - Thanks to the partnership with PAIH, we will offer Start-ups comprehensive support in the internationalization process. Product internationalization is not only an opportunity to develop your business, it is now a necessity in such a globally changing world of technology. Thanks to our joint activities, Start-ups will gain better preparation for entering new markets, access to international know-how and the opportunity to cooperate with leaders.
PAIH's cooperation with Akces NCBR shows how important support for young developing Star-tups is for our organizations. We want the Polish economy to be more and more innovative, and Polish companies to become more and more recognizable in the world. I believe that this cooperation will bring us closer to achieving this goal - added Łukasz Gwiazdowski, PAIH’s Deputy Chairman.
The agreement between Akces and PAIH is an important step in building a stronger innovation ecosystem, which will allow Polish Start-ups commercializing the results of their R+D work to compete on global markets.
