PAIH at Web Summit 2023

In Lisbon, one of the most important events in the technology industry – Web Summit has ended. Over the last few days, the capital of Portugal hosted over 70,000 people, including a strong delegation from Poland. Our country was represented by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, the Ministry of Digital Affairs and 18 innovative technology companies.
Web Summit 2023 was three days full of meetings and talks. Even before the official start of the event, entrepreneurs from Poland could talk about the possibilities of cooperation with representatives of Portuguese companies during a meeting organized by PAIH’s Foreign Trade Office in Lisbon and the Polish Embassy in Portugal.
On the first day of the conference, PAIH and the Ministry of Digital Affairs organized a discussion panel on Poland as a country of innovation. During the Masterclass, experts talked about Poland’s development in terms of innovation and the Polish startup ecosystem, this topic attracted a lot of interest, over 1000 people signed up for the event.
Throughout the conference, the Polish National Pavilion hosted those interested in our country. On the first day of the event, Its opening gathered numerous guests who wanted to learn about Polish innovative technological solutions. Interest in Poland did not wane even . During the three days of the conference, Polish entrepreneurs held hundreds of meetings, and these talks allowed them to strengthen Polish-Portuguese business relations.
