DIHAD is one of the most important events of this type in the world. What is presented at the fair is addressed to regions affected by crises, catastrophes and natural disasters. The event brings together key decision-makers from leading NGOs, UN agencies, charities and government bodies, as well as providers of aid, education and construction from the private sector. During the three-day fair, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency organized a National stand, where domestic companies had the opportunity to present the potential of the Polish humanitarian and development aid sector. Seven companies and institutions participated in the stand.

The aim of organizing the National stand during the ongoing humanitarian and development aid fair DIHAD 2023 in Dubai was to facilitate Polish entrepreneurs' access to supply chains of international aid and humanitarian organizations.

On the National stand at DIHAD 2023, the following were presented:

  • Bud Invest Group
  • Modular System
  • The 17 bag
  • WaSH Innovation
  • Wiss Group
  • Zarys International Group
  • and the Ministry of Development and Technology

On the second day of the event, a delegation of Polish companies visited the International Humanitarian City - the world's largest logistics center operating in the field of humanitarian aid. IHC brings together about eighty international organizations, each of which cooperates with suppliers from around the world. On the same day, the seminar "Poland. Experience and Technology" was held, during which Polish entrepreneurs presented their offer.

The Polish pavilion National stand was also visited by His Excellency Dr. Hamad Al Sheikh Ahmed Al Shaibani, Director General of the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charity in Dubai. A visit by such a high representative of the authorities of the United Arab Emirates is an expression of appreciation for Poland’s presence and the commitment of Polish entrepreneurs in the field of humanitarian and development aid.
