Virtual Hydrogen Fair and Industry Conference – a summary

On the 6th and 7th April, events devoted to the prospects of the hydrogen industry in Poland were held. The two-day industry conference began with speeches by the Chairman of PAIH's Management Board Krzysztof Drynda and the Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment Adam Guibourgé-Czetwertyński.

During the two-day event, a series of panels devoted to technological issues, regulatory and investment challenges took place. Several dozen specialists - business practitioners and scientists dealing with the production, storage and use of hydrogen fuel in the industry participated in the discussion.

The key areas discussed during these panels were the possibilities of using hydrogen in sectors such as chemical and raw material production, transport, energy storage, technological and the legal challenges facing the development of the hydrogen industry. Participants also discussed the staffing needs required for the growth of this sector and the direction of research and technological innovation.

Among the participants there were representatives of the most important Polish administrative bodies, key companies and industry institutions dealing with the subject of hydrogen as an energy raw material.

Simultaneously with the conference, a virtual fair of companies operating in the hydrogen industry was held.

The event hosted over 30 companies and attracted over 1500 guests.
