PAIH invites you to the Poland-Kazakhstan Economic Forum

The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), the Kazakh Invest National Company, together with their partners, invite Polish companies to the Poland-Kazakhstan Economic Forum, which will be held in Warsaw on October 5th of this year. The event will be a platform for discussion between representatives of Polish and Kazakh companies and public institutions of both countries.

The Poland-Kazakhstan Economic Forum will be attended by representatives of Polish and Kazakh business and State institutions supporting the private sector. The event’s agenda includes presentations on the investment potential of Poland and Kazakhstan, as well as plenary sessions at which the prospects of cooperation in the agri-food, production and green technologies sectors will be discussed. As part of the Forum, B2B meetings will be organized to strengthen Polish-Kazakh networking. It is an opportunity for direct talks with a wide range of potential partners, clients and investors; to share experiences, but also present specific proposals for business cooperation in the field of trade and investment. Participants will also hear the opinions of experts and analysts on the latest trends and challenges in bilateral cooperation.

The aim of the Forum is to provide the necessary information and guidance to those planning expansion on to the Kazakh market and to enable direct meetings with Kazakh companies and business support institutions. The forum is addressed to representatives of business as well as institutions and those who support the building of Polish-Kazakh business relations.

The field of cooperation

Kazakhstan, as the largest country in Central Asia, with a very promising market, with high growth potential. It is also a very good direction for Polish companies to invest in. In the first two quarters of 2021, the country recorded an increase in both exports and imports. Exports amounted to USD 27.02 billion, and imports amounted to USD 18.3 billion.

The commodity structure of Kazakhstan's exports to Poland was dominated by flax seeds, crude oil and petroleum products, hydrocarbons and hydrogen. The commodity structure of imports from Poland to Kazakhstan was dominated by apples, medicines, automatic data processing machines and devices, as well as water heaters.
