Krystian OchÍcki is responsible for the preparation and implementation of public affairs strategies in Poland and Croatia.
On behalf of Mastercard, he co-managed the work of the cashless payment initiative within the governmental project "From Paper to Digital Poland", established for digitalizing processes and financial flows in administration and the private sector. He was also co-responsible for developing the concept and launching the Cashless Turnover Development Program (PWOB).
Prior to joining Mastercard, for 6 years he worked for CEC Government Relations, a leading public affairs agency in Central and Eastern Europe, where he was, among others, the leader of the digital economy team. Working on a daily basis with a wide portfolio of clients, mainly from finance and IT sectors, he was involved in projects in such areas as telecommunications law, personal data protection, copyright, cyber security, consumer credit, banking law and labour law.
He initiated the establishment of the Startup Poland Foundation - the first non-governmental organization that is the voice of the startup sector in Poland, which he supported at the stage of creating the first program declaration, registration of the foundation, building a communication strategy and team recruitment. Currently, he is a member of the Program Council.
