The Opolskie Voivodeship is located in the south-western part of Poland in the basin of the upper Oder River in the Silesian Lowland. It directly borders with the Czech Republic. Industry and agriculture are the main sectors of the region’s economy. One of the main advantages of the Voivodeship is the A4 motorway running from West to East (6 junctions) and in the northern part of the S11 expressway. An additional advantage is the proximity of the A1 motorway, the S8 and S11 expressways and the 11 and 57 on the Czech side.
