It covers a total area of 14,209.41 km<sup>2<\/sup>, in 3 Voivodeships: \u015awi\u0119tokrzyskie, Mazowieckie and Lubelskie, comprising of 17 counties and 129 communes. The SEZ &#8220;Starachowice&#8221; S.A. has a favourable location between large urban agglomerations, i.e. Krakow, Warsaw, Lublin and \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, making it an attractive region for investment. Transport communication of the area with the largest centres in the country is provided by road and rail networks. The most important roads routes include roads No. 7, No. 9, No. 12, No. 17, No. 42, No. 73, No. 74, No. 77, No. 78, No. 79. Of significant importance for the economy in the region are the railway junctions in Kielce and Skar\u017cysko Kamienna, the station in S\u0119dzisz\u00f3w and the stations serving the mining industry and related processing: Rykoszyn, Sitk\u00f3wka-Nowiny, Ma\u0142ogoszcz i O\u017car\u00f3w. Air transport is based on the Radom-Sadk\u00f3w airport in Radom and the communication airport located in Mas\u0142owo near Kielce. In February 2024, the Kielce Industrial Park*KPP) began its operations as a branch of the Special Economic Zone &#8220;Starachowice&#8221; S.A. KPP covers over 25 hectares of investment areas, of which over 20 hectares are undeveloped plots. These properties have an up-to-date spatial development plan (for production purposes). At the same time, SEZ &#8220;Starachowice&#8221; S.A., with the help of the Kielce branch, is constantly taking steps to expand its own portfolio of investment properties.<br><br>SEZ &#8220;Starachowice&#8221; S.A. belongs to the capital group of the Industrial Development Agency S.A.<br><br><b>Zone map: divided into Voivodships and Poviats<\/b>\n<div id=\"mapy\">\n<div class=\"mapySSE\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"map of Poland\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/0\/147101\/147127.svg\" style=\"padding:10px;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"mapySSE\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"SEZ map\" src=\"https:\/\/www.paih.gov.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Starachowice-SSE_mapa-f50bbe.svg\" style=\"padding:10px;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n<br><b>Advantages and successes of SEZ:<\/b><br><div align=\"justify\"><ul><li>a significant part of the area is based on highly developed industries: metallurgy, metal, machinery, building materials, ceramics, foundry and energy.
