During the opening of the meeting, they spoke about the excellent economic relations between the two countries and the interest of both countries in increasing trade. They emphasized that Poland and Morocco complement each other in many areas of the economy, which gives opportunities to exchange not only goods and services, but also know-how. PAIH\u2019s Deputy Chairman reminded that PAIH\u2019s Foreign Trade Office in Casablanca, which successfully connects Polish and Moroccan entities, is available for companies interested in establishing business relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morocco is one of PAIH\u2019s priority African markets – a country with a stable economy, a favourable geographic location and strategic importance as a gateway to Sub-Saharan Africa and the Maghreb. We strive to make the presence of Polish companies in Morocco stronger and stronger, both in the form of export and direct investments. We see potential in cooperation with local Moroccan institutions and companies in creating joint ventures – said \u0141ukasz Gwiazdowski.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the meeting, companies and organizations made presentations, there were discussion of potential areas of cooperation, as well as networking and B2B talks. Representatives of Polish and Moroccan business were present . On the Polish side the following were present, the Polish Chamber of Commerce, FinTech Polska, Polmlek, KGHM Polska Mied\u017a, Polska Grupa Motoryzacyjna, the National Support Centre for Agriculture, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, Green Capital, LPP, the Industrial Development Agency and the Upper Silesian Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Moroccan side was represented by members of industry organizations – the Moroccan Federation of Fish Processing FENIP, the Confederation of Agriculture and Rural Development COMADER, the Federation of Mineral Industries FDIM, the National Agri-Food Federation FENAGRI, as well as the Moroccan Association of the Textile and Clothing Industry AMITH. They talked about both the good cooperation with Polish companies so far and the great interest in establishing new contacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event created a real arena for deepening bilateral relations, exchanging experiences and discussing future directions of cooperation – in particular in areas where the economies of both countries complement each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
