The aim of the initiative was to show how important it is to strengthen digital resilience through cooperation between public institutions, the private sector and startup communities. The event was not only a platform for the exchange of knowledge, but also an impulse for the construction of specific projects in the field of infrastructure security, technological innovation and protection of societies from new threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference was opened by Karolina Ostrzyniewska, Charg\u00e9 d’affaires in the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Stockholm, Pawe\u0142 Bliznuk, Member of the Polish Parliament and Chairman of the Polish-Swedish Parliamentary Group, and Brigadier General Mattias Hanson from the Swedish Armed Forces. In their welcome speeches, everyone unanimously emphasized the growing importance of cooperation in the area of cybersecurity in the context of new geopolitical threats and digital transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the expert panels, the participants had the opportunity to listen to two key speeches. J\u00f6rgen Holmlund from the Swedish Defence Academy presented an analysis of current strategic challenges in Northern Europe, and Magdalena Wilczy\u0144ska, Director for Cyberspace Information Protection at NASK \u2013 National Research Institute, presented Poland\u2019s experience in counteracting cyber threats in connection with the war in Ukraine, which has been now been going on for over three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An important part of the conference were the numerous discussion panels, among others, on the protection of critical infrastructure and the need to deepen cross-border cooperation, as well as the need to accelerate the transfer of innovative solutions for the needs of the defence sector. The substantive sessions were complemented by a demonstration of Cyber in Action<\/em> technology, during which participants could see in practice, solutions of Polish and Swedish companies, such as critical infrastructure monitoring systems (Energy Logserver) and methods of detecting and neutralizing Internet threats (Air Sheriff), as well as the latest drone technologies from Nordluft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was organized by the Foreign Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in Stockholm and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Sweden in cooperation with Klasterm Cyber Made in Poland, the Swedish-Polish Chamber of Commerce and Epicenter Stockholm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
