The opening of PAIH\u2019s Regional Trade Office in Toru\u0144 was attended by representatives of local companies and business environment institutions. The event, which took place at the Jordanki Cultural and Congress Centre in Toru\u0144, was also attended by representatives of the local authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pawe\u0142 Pud\u0142owski, PAIH\u2019s Deputy Chairman, emphasized the dynamic development of business in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship. He added that in order to make use of the region\u2019s economic potential in the most effective way, the Agency must have a present close to entrepreneurs. He emphasized that the priority of the RTO’s activity in Toru\u0144 is openness to the needs reported by local companies, and the activity of another regional office will allow for more effective access to business and support institutions with the support PAIH can offer, including, among other things, assistance in the process of expansion into new markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In PAIH\u2019s office opened today in Toru\u0144, there are experts waiting to provide free information to entrepreneurs on how to expand into foreign markets. The purpose of our Regional Trade Office is to facilitate contact with PAIH, so that companies can gain knowledge and establish international business relations even more effectively – said PAIH\u2019s Deputy Chairman Pawe\u0142 Pud\u0142owski.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Deputy Marshal of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, Zbigniew Ostrowski, emphasized the energy of local entrepreneurs to take action. He spoke of the support of local Government for the economic development of the region, as well as the fruitful cooperation between PAIH and the Marshal’s Office in supporting local initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toru\u0144\u2019s President Pawe\u0142 Gulewski spoke about the readiness of companies in his city to expand and the importance of entrepreneurship development for the city. He also spoke about the openness of his local Government offices to economic initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toru\u0144 has always been a city open to the world – a city of merchants, scientists, and enterprising people. Our heritage, proximity to the largest academic centres, as well as the dynamic development of the SME sector make us ready for new challenges and partnerships. PAIH’s Regional Trade Office in Toru\u0144 is a place for dialogue, cooperation and inspiration, a bridge between local potential and the global market. I would like to thank PAIH\u2019s Management Board for placing their trust in us and for locating the office in our city. It is a good choice. I can assure you that Toru\u0144 has a lot to offer – it is a positive, compact city, a good place to live, study, work, invest and develop – emphasized Toru\u0144\u2019s President.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, PAIH\u2019s representatives presented the possibilities of cooperation with the Agency as part of expansion into foreign markets, prospects for attracting investments, as well as economic promotion of Poland as part of PAIH\u2019s presence at the ongoing World Exhibition Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. As part of the event in Toru\u0144, a debate “Local Business \u2013 Global Reach” was held with the participation of entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PAIH\u2019s Regional Trade Office in Toru\u0144 is located at 167 W\u0142oc\u0142awska Street (building. A, lok. 267) and operates from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regional Trade Offices were established in response to the needs of Polish companies throughout the country. One of the priorities of the Agency’s regional offices is to strengthen cooperation with local economic and industry organizations, as well as to educate SMEs operating in the region in the field of export and foreign markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Polish Investment and Trade Agency<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) is an advisory institution that is part of the Polish Development Fund (PFR) Group. It is the first point of contact for exporters and investors. It operates both in Poland and through a network of its offices around the world. It strengthens the recognition of Polish brands on international markets, promotes domestic products and services as well as technological solutions made in Poland.
