The Forum was opened by the Minister of Development and Technology of the Republic of Poland Krzysztof Paszyk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov, Chairman of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) Andrzej Dycha and Deputy Minister and Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexander Lukashuk. In their speeches, they emphasized the importance of developing mutual economic relations, intensifying business cooperation and the need to invest in the infrastructure and security of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PAIH\u2019s Chairman Andrzej Dycha reminded participants about the key role of the Agency in connecting Polish and Ukrainian companies and its active support for Ukraine from the first days of Russia’s invasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PAIH was the first agency to resume operations in Ukraine after Russia’s invasion. We are consistently building a network of contacts and relationships, we are ready to move to the next stage of economic cooperation. I hope that this will happen in peacetime – said the Agency\u2019s Chairman.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his speech, Pawe\u0142 Kowal, Chairman of the Council for Cooperation with Ukraine in the Prime Minister\u2019s Chancellery, emphasized the importance of the synergy of the Lublin Triangle countries in the reconstruction of Ukraine. He also drew attention to common interests and the need to combine historical relations with economic pragmatism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the Forum, a number of panels and thematic sessions were held with the participation of companies and institutions from Poland, Ukraine and Lithuania. Discussions focused on strategic development directions, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Energy security<\/strong> – development of energy infrastructure, strengthening the energy independence of the region;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Strategic transport corridors<\/strong> – facilitation of logistics and transport between the countries of the Lublin Triangle;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The High-tech sector <\/strong>– innovative security and dual-use technology solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Prospects for cooperation<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

    The Lublin Triangle Economic Forum showed that Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine have a common vision of the region’s development based on mutual economic support and strategic investments. The participants of the event unanimously emphasized that the foundation of a strong and resilient region is human capital and international cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Thanks to the involvement of institutions such as PAIH, the Lublin Triangle is becoming an important centre for economic integration of Central and Eastern Europe, supporting the reconstruction of Ukraine and strengthening the stability of the region. Subsequent editions of the forum will certainly be an opportunity to further intensify cooperation and specific activities for business development in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
