This event which brought the two countries closer was opened by the Ambassador of Egypt to Poland, His Excellency Ahmed El Ansary, the Chairman of the Polish Chamber of Commerce Marek K\u0142oczko and PAIH\u2019s Chairman Andrzej Dycha. In his speech, the head of the Agency emphasized the rapid development of economic cooperation in recent years between Poland and Egypt. He spoke about both Polish investments successfully implemented in our partner\u2019s country, as well as bilateral economic exchange. He also added that the prospects for further development are promising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Poland has a long history of positive diplomatic relations with Egypt. It is also a country that Poles associate very positively with culture and history. Our companies are becoming more and more bold in operating on the Egyptian market. I am convinced that today’s Forum will accelerate and strengthen this cooperation even more – said Andrzej Dycha, PAIH\u2019s Chairman.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participants were also welcomed by the Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, Ms. Rania Al-Mashat and the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Development and Technology, Tomasz Lewandowski. They both spoke about the great potential for the development of cooperation, which is based on mutual trust and the desire for mutually beneficial economic relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, an agreement was signed between the Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Egyptian Polish Businessmen Association. In the further part of the event, the participants learned about the areas of activity of business environment institutions in Poland and Egypt: General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, National Support Centre for Agriculture, Suez Canal Economic Zone and PAIH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the forum, a session of matchmaking meetings, which lasted several hours, was held between representatives of several dozen Polish and Egyptian companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
