As part of the mission, the Poland-Mexico Business Forum took place. One of the main topics discussed during the event was the prospects for business development on the Mexican market and cooperation in strategic sectors for Poland and Mexico. Polish companies could also learn about the conditions of doing business in this country. Experts from the Mexican market talked about HR, accounting and tax as well as formal and legal issues. During the Forum, the offer of Polish companies – participants of the economic mission was presented. The event was accompanied by B2B meetings and consultations with experts. The partners of the forum were the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Mexico and the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology (COMCE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the 22-23.10, the participants of the mission visited the states of Queretaro and Guanajuato, which are part of the Baj\u00edo region. In Queretaro, they held meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Sustainable Development of the State of Queretaro (SEDESU) \u2013 the unit responsible for economic development and environmental protection, as well as representatives of the Automotive, Logistics, Aeronautical Clusters, the Energy Agency of the State of Queretaro and private business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the state of Guanajuato, companies from Poland had the opportunity to talk with delegates of the Ministry of Economy of the State of Guanajuato, the Automotive Cluster and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Spatial Planning of the State of Guanajuato (SMAOT).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the missions participants met with a representation of the Special Region of Puerto Interior – a dry port 4.0 located in Guanajuato, within which four industrial parks operate. Puerto Interior has the services and infrastructure to serve logistics and manufacturing companies with an international reach and the most modern and well-laid out customs facility in Mexico. In Guanajuato, the entrepreneurs also visited IECA \u2013 the State Institute of Education, whose mission is to develop talents according to the job profiles required in the manufacturing sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Baj\u00edo region has a developed and diversified industrial base. The transport infrastructure, which includes modern motorways, rail networks and international airports, enables the efficient flow of goods and services, reducing delivery times and logistics costs. This diversity creates a dynamic and resilient ecosystem, capable of sustaining and improving nearshoring activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second part of the economic mission took place between the 24-26.10 in Guatemala City. The partners in the organization of the agenda and business events were the Embassy of the Republic of Guatemala in Poland and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guatemala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During their visit the missions participants met with representatives of the following institutions and organizations: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guatemala, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Guatemala, AGEXPORT – Guatemalan Association of Exporters, ANADIE – National Agency for Partnerships for the Development of Economic Infrastructure, the Guatemalan Chamber of Industry, the Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce, CACIF – Coordinating Committee of Agricultural, Commercial, and the Guatemala City Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guatemala’s economy is the largest in Central America. The country has free trade agreements with among others, the United States, Mexico, and the European Union. There are a lot of opportunities on the Guatemalan market in areas such as light industry, industrial automation, construction, automotive, infrastructure, green technologies, BPO, and clothing and textiles. Guatemala is trying to develop projects within the framework of Public-Private Partnership, which creates great opportunities for Polish companies operating in the field of infrastructure development and urban mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
