During the mission, industry consultations were held at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kiev, during which Polish entrepreneurs talked with representatives of Ukrainian institutions, non-governmental organizations and business representatives. The aim of the meetings was to familiarize companies from Poland with the specifics of the needs most often encountered in Ukraine, related to the health care system. A key area was to help victims of the ongoing armed conflict, including both civilians and veterans who have suffered damage to their health during hostilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mission ended with an intensive series of business meetings in PAIH\u2019s Foreign Trade Office in Kiev. Entrepreneurs had the opportunity to learn about the perspective and needs of the Ukrainian public administration, establish contacts with business partners, as well as non-governmental organizations. Polish companies presented their innovative solutions and products that might be particularly useful in the situation of our neighbours country. As a result of Russian aggression, Ukraine is facing huge challenges, among them, in the areas of prostheses, rehabilitation of war victims, pain relief and psychological support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrzej Dycha also visited Polish production plants operating in Ukraine \u2013 the Cersanit plant and the headquarters of Plastics-Ukraine \u2013 a leading distributor of polymer materials, where he spoke with Polish entrepreneurs associated within the International Association of Polish Entrepreneurs in Ukraine and the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce. The participants of the meeting emphasized the special conditions in which companies are forced to operate as a result of Russian aggression. The Agency\u2019s Head also visited the European Commission’s representation in Ukraine, the Ukraine Invest agency and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, where he discussed the possibility of potential cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mission was co-organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, the International Association of Polish Entrepreneurs in Ukraine, the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers and the Ukraine Invest agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
