Cybersecurity is the key to strengthening defence alliances: a meeting at the PAIH office in Copenhagen
The event was organized by PAIH’s Danish office, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen and representatives of Vector Synergy and CDeX. During the meeting, the participants talked about the key role of cybersecurity in the modern business environment and on the scale of state security, as well as about the possibilities of increasing cooperation between the Polish and Danish cybersecurity sectors.
During the meeting in PAIH’s Copenhagen office, representatives of Vector Synergy presented examples of their cooperation with NATO and the European Union. The Polish company emphasized the growing need to hire highly qualified staff specializing in cybersecurity and the importance of a strategic and proactive approach to strengthening European defence systems in the face of the current geopolitical situation. The state of national cybersecurity and the development of this market segment were also discussed.
The event accompanied the- DALO industry Days fair organized by the Danish Ministry of Defence. This is a cyclical event aimed at strengthening cooperation between Danish entities and foreign partners.
We are glad that Polish companies from such an advanced industry as cybersecurity have innovative solutions which are sought after all over the world. Meetings such as this show the huge opportunities for the foreign expansion of Polish business - said Marta Orlikowska, Head of PAIH's Foreign Trade Office in Copenhagen.
The participants of the meeting appreciated Poland’s role as a key player not only because of our geographical location on NATO's eastern flank, but also because of the historical awareness of threats in Europe. Patryk Błaszczak, chargé d'affaires in the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Denmark, who was present at the meeting, emphasized the priority of Poland's role in the field of cyber defence, pointing to the possibilities of in-depth cooperation with Danish partners.
