PAIH and “e-Izba” together for online export

The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) and the Chamber of Electronic Economy signed an agreement for cooperation in the promotion, education and development of exports in online trade. This is a confirmation of the good experience, so far, in mutual activities and a plan for the coming years.

The ceremonial signing of the agreement was attended by Patrycja Sass-Staniszewska, President of the Chamber of Electronic Economy and Krzysztof Drynda, Chairman of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, and Grzegorz Słomkowski, Member of the Management Board of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

The aim of the cooperation is to create favorable conditions for the development and strengthening of the Polish digital industry and e-commerce on the Polish and foreign markets. The agreement also covers the promotion of domestic companies in relation to potential foreign contractors present on the Polish market or planning economic cooperation.

As part of the concluded agreement, the Chamber of Electronic Economy - a non-profit organization representing the interests of companies related to the electronic economy market in Poland - will, among other things, share their knowledge and experience to support the further development of online export. Experts from PAIH will, in turn, engage in cyclical workshops and training for business, which are carried out as part of the Digital Economy School run by e-Izba.

E-commerce is a dynamically developing area of the economy, and the pandemic has further accelerated the growth of the importance of the digital sector. New trends are new opportunities for Polish companies, both in the development of businesses on the domestic market and in their internationalization. At PAIH, we help entrepreneurs in creating the most effective export strategy and in reaching new contractors. The signed agreement will facilitate the exchange of information between our institutions. It will allow us to operate even more efficiently and with greater intensity, and above all, constantly and long term. We will use our common potential in the promotion of Polish companies from the digital sector on the Polish and international markets - said Krzysztof Drynda, Chairman of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.Cross-border trade, due to the different legal and tax realities of a given market, is still a huge challenge for the e-commerce industry. In addition, there are the issues of differences in promotion, e-marketing and payments, which are crucial in cross-border business. The Chamber of Electronic Economy has been supporting Polish e-commerce companies in online export for many years. We have fantastic products, great customer service and we are logistically prepared to serve foreign customers.
