Polish company Meblik opens its first store in Hungary

Polish producent of children's furniture – Meblik, opens on Saturday, June 29, its first store in Hungary. Hungarians will be able to buy a chest of drawers, a desk or a cot with a Polish "tag" in the MaxCity mall in Budapest. The company officially registered its Hungarian department - Meblik Kft. Support in the entering the market was provided by PAIH Trade Office in Budapest.

Meblik is a company founded in 2006 by parents of little children who, knowing the needs of the youngest, wanted to create products with a strong construction, but above all - safe. This is due to the craftsmen employed by Meblik and technical thought, as well as the highest quality materials used by the manufacturer. Demanding target group, which are children, put a strong pressure on the companies from this market segment on aspects of strength and resistance of furniture.

Reliability and security of furniture are a factor that consumers look for both in Poland and on export markets - explains Marcin Ła¶ko, who is responsible for export in Meblik. The company adheres to the highest safety standards and every piece of furniture complies with the stringent standards set for children's products by the European Union. The characteristic feature of our products is their rounded edges, attractive design and the use of safe, certified protective varnishes - adds the investor's representative.

The Polish furniture industry has already established itself a strong position in Europe, which builds the confidence of a growing group of consumers. You can see it well in Hungary. What's more, Polish companies perceive this country as a prospective market and feel more and more confident doing business there - adds Marcin Karaskiewicz, head of the Budapest office of PAIH, which supported the company Meblik in the expansion to Hungary. Our activities were aimed at supporting the implementation of Polish investment both in the substantive and operational dimensions. We helped primarily in aspects that are usually the biggest challenge for investors - formal legal issues of company registration, selection of business partners and finding qualified employees. We are currently involved in the promotion of a new store, incuding the Hungarian Polonia - comments Marcin Karaskiewicz.
