PMT is a project supporting the expansion of the Polish SME sector implemented by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. Entrepreneurs can receive a grant with a maximum value of PLN 200 000 in the de minimis formula. - The funds will be able to be used to develop and implement strategies for the entering new markets. One company can take part in many calls, the grant can also be received for more than one direction (one market). The only barrier is the three-year limit of de minimis aid, amounting to EUR 200 000 - explains Joanna Manikowska from PAIH, project leader of PMT.
PAIH representative explains that in the first call for North American markets, 31 companies received support. - They all have already developed strategies for entering the market and are preparing for the foreign stage. Each strategy includes an analysis of the company's state and indicates the goals of expansion. Some grantees are focused on sale, others plans to set up a company - explains Joanna Manikowska.
The representative of the PMT project, reminds that in addition to the recruitment just completed, PAIH will organize at least three rounds of the competition this year. Already in mid-April entrepreneurs will be able to apply to the market of Norway, Ukraine and Russia, then in May - South Africa, Egypt and Algeria. The Far Eastern round (Indonesia, South Korea and Singapore) will take place in June.
The project PMT (Polskie Mosty Technologiczne) is implemented for years: 2018-2023 and co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund. The total value of support for companies will amount to over PLN 176,5 million.
