Polish cosmetics at the fair in Denmark

Six Polish cosmetic brands presented themselves at the national stand during the Danish BEAUTY19 fair. They were invited to participate in the event by the Copenhagen Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

Every second cosmetic manufactured in Poland goes to the foreign market, also to Denmark. According to data from the Statistical Information Centre, in 2012-2015 the value of polish cosmetics sold worldwide, increased by over 40%, to almost 29 million EUR. - Polish cosmetics are more and more appreciated on international markets. It's high time to show our innovative products also in Denmark - says Łukasz Szymaszek, the head of the PAIH office in Copenhagen. - Danes already know and value such Polish brands as Dr Irena Eris, Ziaja or LaRive. Thanks to the high quality of Polish products, there is chance to increase the interest of Danish consumers in our cosmetics - adds Szymaszek. As the head of ZBH Copenhagen points out, the sale of premium cosmetics and personal care products in Denmark is constantly growing, and according to Euromonitor's forecast, its value will amount to over 3 billion DKK (around 400 million EUR) in 2020.

Beauty19 Fair was held on March 2-3, 2019. The event, organized by the Danish Society of Cosmetology, aims to present the latest trends in the beauty sector: skin care, color cosmetics and wellness products. The fair will not lack a Polish accent. Among the participants of the Polish national stand prepared by PAIH there were six producers of colored and ecological cosmetics and innovative make-up remover products.

- Clochee will bring cosmetics to Denmark, which are one hundred percent ecological, suitable for vegans and packed in biodegradable tubes. Inglot will boast with beautiful colors of make-up products and a care series, covering the specifics produced on the basis of natural ingredients. Indigo Nails will present its multi-award-winning nail polishes in the world, and Glov will show that thanks to their makeup removal glove, it's enough to use only water to wash away the make up - says Business Development Manager of ZBH Copenhagen, Marta Orlikowska. She adds that coming from Limanowa Gold Drop will present, among others, liquid soaps and bath gels, and Yasumi intends to conquer the local serum market with rose oil, creams with a high content of vit. C and a biocellulose mask on the face.

PAIH Trade Agency in Copenhagen has been operating since May 2018. - So far, we have served over 300 inquiries from Polish companies mainly in the health care, agri-food and construction industries.
