A month ago, PAIH Foreign Trade Office in Dubai invited to Poland the representatives of one of the most dynamically developing technology hubs in the world - Dubai Internet City. In the meeting have also participated, among others, the creators of the Photon Entertainment educational robot. Polish edu-tech has made such a good impression on guests from Dubai that they invited the company to participate in the biggest IT fairs in the Middle East - GITEX (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition) for free.
The GITEX Fair is one of the largest and most prestigious technological events around the world. Participation in that event gives access to 146 000 experts with real purchasing power. According to Barbara Polit, head of the sales department of Photon Entertainment, GITEX was a great opportunity for the company to introduce the brand and product to the Middle East - The event was very well fitted to our expansion plans, in which this direction is one of the most important. It is here where the trends of the region shape and here we could see whether our development plans are right. Polit explains that Photon is interested in both - a strong entry into the educational public sector and private school networks - Individual client also remains within our reach, but in this case, we operate mainly in terms of marketing - he adds. The head of the sales department explains that Photon "has made the most of" the goals of establishing potential business contacts during GITEX - The interest was from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia. The first talks look promising - he admits.
Representatives of the Polish edu-tech do not hide that Dubai Trade Office support was crucial for them - We are very grateful for this opportunity. The office strongly supported us at every stage, from the meeting with DIC in Warsaw, up to help with the transport of our robots. The ZBH team is very professional and open with a great knowledge of the market. Without them, we would not have such opportunities - emphasizes Barbara Polit.
Moneer Faour, head of the PAIH office in Dubai, points out that the United Arab Emirates puts a strong emphasis on the development of innovation, and thanks to the enormous potential, companies from Poland have a chance to gain a significant "piece of this cake" - Polish companies are significant players on the market of creators of IT products and ICT services. Poland has gained the international reputation of a reliable contractor for the e-commerce sector, financial services and health services. We develop niche software for the space industry as well as the emerging quantum technology segment. Polish IT solutions are increasingly finding clients throughout Asia.
Photon was created at the Białystok University of Technology. The robot is equipped with sensors that allow him to see, hear, touch, distinguish darkness from light and measure distance. Thanks to it, children learn programming faster. Photon is already on sale in Poland, Sweden, Singapore and Australia. The producer's target is also neighboring markets - Germany, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
