How can Polish food industry conquer hearts in Asia and the Middle East?

Polish companies, local food industry producers, met for the B2B bilateral conversations with representatives of Y International Limited and LuLu Group - one of the top 10 retailers in the world. The meeting was initiated and hosted by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.
The Lulu Group is one of the largest shopping chains in Asia and the largest in the Middle East with 128 outlets in the Persian Gulf. It is present in Kuwait, Bahrain, Yemen, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Vietnam, Nigeria, Senegal, Uganda, Kenya, Benin, Mozambique, Ivory Cost, Ghana and Great Britain.

The core of its business is retail. The company also make exports, wholesales, food production and has a chain of shopping centers. Every day, LuLu stores is visited by 500 thousands customers and the Group's income in 2016 amounted up to $ 6.3 billion.

Y International (UK) Limited is an export company focusing on the markets of Asia and the Middle East. He has facility in Birmingham that prepares dry food products from Europe for re-labeling, labeling, repackaging and Halal traceability. It provides a range of logistics and warehousing services related to order consolidation, repackaging, translation of food and non-food labels from the United Kingdom, distribution to different regions of the world. One of its partners is LuLu Group.

Conversations arranged by PAIH met the expectations of both parties. We hope that this will soon bring the presence of Polish products on store shelves in the Middle East or Asia.
